Teran Anno Domini 2015
Teran Anno Domini is produced only in good years, and hence the name. Grapes from our best vineyards are selected to produce this wine. After the ideal ripeness is reached and the vinification is complete, the wine is stored to age a few years, partly in wooden barrels and partly in the bottle. When it comes on the market, Teran Anno Domini is usually a well-rounded and full-bodied wine, with a lively acidic backbone, a valued collector's item with a long aging potential.

From the climatic point of view, it is a dry and warmer year with a lower to moderate amount of precipitation. The total amount of precipitation in the whole year was a modest 700 liters per meter. The vegetation process started a little earlier and this pace was maintained for the entire vegetation period ending with the harvest which was also earlier than usual, except in the case of terano which kept its standard deadlines in the first half of October. Teran was subjected to the usual green harvest at the beginning of August. The grapes were rich in malt, so during the harvest, additional selection was made to remove dry or withered bunches.
Description:
A rich and layered fragrance in which ripe black cherry intertwines with blackberry, dry herbalism and spicy notes. The taste is characterized by solid concentration and medium to full body, fully ripe and softer tannins, roundness in the middle and fine spices mixed with mineral notes on the finish. Teran of a more mature type, luxurious on the palate, clean and focused on the nose, with the potential for long storage.
Gastronomic recommendation:
Aged steaks and other types of aged steaks are sprinkled with coarse salt and drizzled with olive oil.
